Are the beads treated or synthetic?
The beads are real stones. The flashing band of light displayed by the stone is a result of thin fibrous material within the stone that reflects light back to the viewer.The brown color is naturally occuring, as most tigereye is brown colored. The red color is a result of heating the stone in a specific way. Although this color can be found naturally, usually the stone is heat treated after being mined. The bluish colors of tigereye are also usually treated.
