Foil glass amber and cut crystal earrings

Hook style sterling silver earrings feature topaz colored furnace glass, natural amber gemstone and Swarovski Austrian crystal.
Square topaz colored furnace glass bead has silver foil interior which give the bead a glowing effect.
Round 6mm beads are natural Baltic amber gemstone.
The top faceted bead is Swarovski cut crystal.
Earrings are about 1 5/8 inches long from top of earhook.
One earring weighs 2.5 grams. (A nickle weighs 5 grams.)

Earhooks and spacing beads are sterling silver, which is a metal alloy designed to maintain the qualities of pure silver but with added durability and strength. Sterling silver is 92.5% pure, or 'fine', silver. Earrings come with rubber backs to prevent earrings from slipping off.

Top bead is a 4mm Swarovski faceted crystal bicone.

Center round bead is genuine Baltic amber. Care should be taken with this stone as amber is a relatively soft gemstone. Harsh chemicals should never be used on amber.

Bottom bead measures 1/2" x 1/2" x 3/16". This bead is made using furnace glass techniques. The bead is created in layers, which allows a fine silver foil to be placed within the glass. Furnace glass refers to the method of placing layers of glass into a precisely heated furnace until the glass fuses into one piece.
