Almandine garnet gemstones have a deep burgundy color with a slight metallic finish that blends well with sterling silver accents. Despite their vivid color, garnets are versatile gemstones, complementing many colors and styles of clothing- from casual, 'blue jean' wear, to dressy evening wear. Garnets are often found as off-round pebbles in ore-rich gravel and are rounded into beads or cabochons with a high polish. We select gemstones with even color and good finish. The color is untreated and natural.
