Amber Anklets

Amber is one of the few gemstones that has it's origin in an organic substance. What we know of as amber was once globs of sap oozing from prehistoric trees. Over a very long time the sap fossilizes into what is technically known as succinite.

We use natural amber that varies in color from a "lemon' tone to a medium "honey" brown to a deep "rootbeer" brown. See descriptions on individual items for specific color tones.
