Carnelian and Amethyst Earrings
6mm carnelian and 4mm amethyst earrings. Carnelian is very similar to black onyx. It is the same basic mineral with different impurities which give each gemstone it's distinctive color. Amethyst is also similar to carnelian and onyx- but with a larger crystal structure. Again amethyst has different impurities which causes it's purple coloring. Ear-hooks are sterling silver.
